Carrie-Anne Moss

CarrieCarrie-Anne Moss, born August 21, 1967 is a Canadian actress from Canada. Her fame was boosted by her role as Trinity in The Matrix (1999-present) after performing a number of characters on television. Memento (2000) was her debut big role. She was awarded the Independent Spirit Award, Best Supporting Female, Red Planet (2000). Chocolat (2000), Fido (2006), Snow Cake (2006). Snow Cake (2006) was awarded the Genie Award, Best Performance by an Actress, Disturbia (2007). Unthinkable (2010). Silent Hill: Revelation (2012). Pompeii (2014). Jessica Jones (2015) to 2019 was her most recent television show. She also was Jeri Hogarth. Moss was living in Spain when she was approached for the role as Tara judge Nicholas Marshall's Clerk, in the drama series Dark Justice. This was her first time on TV. Moss relocated from Barcelona to Los Angeles with the series in 1992. Moss had to leave Dark Justice before the series was in its third season and the final one and was replaced by Elisa Heinsohn in the role of Samantha "Sam" Collins. She attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena when she returned, and was later a star on the primetime soap opera of Fox Models Inc., a spin-off of Melrose Place, as a model. In July 1995, the series was removed from the air. Matrix the made-in Canada series that featured her as the lead actress, was cancelled in July 1995. She was a regular guest in several television shows such as Street Justice, Baywatch and F/X: The Series. Three years later, she received the Gemini Award nomination for Best Guest actor in Drama. She appeared in numerous B-movies parts throughout the decade and included Flashfire (1994) and The Soft Kill(94), Tough Guy (1994), Lethal Tender (1996), Sabotage (1996) and The Secret Life of Algernon (1997).
