Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. She is most well-known for anchoring the CNN morning program At This Hour, Bolduan is an American journalist on the broadcast. She was also co-anchored CNN morning programs New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a part of CNN's award winning coverage of presidential elections 2012 and the 2016 presidential election. She has also served as a correspondent for Congress based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congressional cycles as well as congress events including negotiations to raise the federal loan limit and Super Committee discussions. Bolduan was an associate reporter on general assignments. She has covered reports such as Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt and the Supreme Court's landmark decision regarding Obamacare. Bolduan also reported on the introduction of stimulus plans in 2009. She began working for CNN Newsource in 2007. She wrote feature stories as well as breaking news reports to over 800 CNN Newsource Affiliates as a national reporter. The stations she worked for were NBC News, MSNBC, and WTVD-TV.
