Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress well known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. The actress began her career in stage shows during the 1950s starting by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the 1950s she performed as a stage performer in a few Broadway plays before breaking through into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner's debut in 1957. In 1957, she released her debut music album named It's time to Tina. Louise started with her Hollywood career in 1958, when she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was a huge success, and Louise received the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationship to Lee Strasberg. She signed on with CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway, playing somber characters that reflected her reputation as a the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years Tapping has also emerged as a popular director for well-known TV series like Supernatural or The 100. Her birth date was the 28th of August, 1965, in Essex. At the age of three, her family relocated her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of her childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has remained to Toronto since then.
