Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is a former American alpine ski champion who took home gold in downhill at the Winter Olympics 2010. She is the only female skier who holds the second highest Super Score. She is among the top and most beloved skiers of the past. Lindsey American World Cup alpine ski racer Caroline Vonn also known as Lindsey Vonn competes for the US Ski Team. There are 4 overall World Cup victories. She is a renowned athlete in American history. She is one of just six females who have won at all five World Cup competitions in alpine. She has won 82 World Cups. Following the World Championships held in Sweden this year, one of the best and most accomplished ski racers from America will be retiring. The athlete retired following a lengthy list of health issues. The former World Cup overall champion announced her retirement via social media. The World Championships in Downhill and SG Re Sweden will mark my last races for Re Sweden.
